Trip to San Diego

I have spent the last 5 days on a trip to  national math teachers' conference in San Diego. It was great! I learned so much!

Seeing the ocean was great! Our hotel room looked right over the bay!

2 More Blocks finished

I am determined to finish this wool quilt. I did two more blocks this weekend. It has been a new learning curve, but really fun. I'm pleased with how it is turning out.

I have 3 individual blocks to go. Then it will be onto the large center block. I have all of the pieces ready to go.

More Sue Spargo Blocks

Here are 2 more completed blocks for my Sue Spargo Greenbriar quilt. I have another almost done and 2 more prepped. These blocks made the raft trip over spring break, too! I bet they smell a bit smoky from working by the campfire!

Dogs Enjoy Spring Break

Our dogs went on the raft trip-Lily, Luc, Renata, and our new pup, Sara. Here we are at Cory Bar getting ready to launch for the day. All they need are their life jackets. It's a good thing they wear them. Luc fell overboard this trip! He was a little surprised and we were just a little bit panicked. I was able to lift him back into the boat with one hand. I think that was my adrenaline rush. All turned out fine.

Spring Break Rafting

We had an awesome Spring Break rafting the Salmon River in Idaho. Here is the camp at Rhett Creek. It is our favorite place.
