Sewing Project Today

I have been having a great day of sewing today. I finished these Snap Happy bags. 

They are so easy. You use pieces of a broken metal tape measure for the top closer! 

A Surprise Wake Up!

My husband and his brother, Will, were backpacking along the Selway River in Idaho. One morning he looked out his tent door to see the locals checking him out!

Charming Chatter

I have been working on my blocks for the Charming Chatter Quilt Along. I am using Moda's Happy Camper fabrics by American Jane. I have just one confession to make- I didn't use a charm pack as I had a honey bun!

New Thread!

Yesterday and today I stopped at Joann's to get thread for quilting my challenge project. The Sulky threads were 50% off. I got several nice, shiny colors each day...
But, they weren't selling courage. I need some of that to start quilting it myself!

Challenge project

I finally got inspired and am working on my challenge project for the Sapphire Quilt Show.

I think I will name it Butterflies at the Waterfall. I can't show it now, because the challenge projects are a SECRET!

Wool Quilt's Center Block!

YEAH! I finished the large center block for my Sue Spargo wool quilt!! Now I have to piece all of the blocks together! It has been a really fun project! I have enjoyed working with wool!

Honey Do List

My husband, Mike worked on the Honey Do List today. He put up the magnetic bars and canisters I got at IKEA last summer. I will get my quilting room organized yet!
