Charming Chatter Quilt Along

I finally finished my quilt! I had to wait for more fabric!
I used Moda's Happy Campers by American Jane.
It is fitting to finish this quilt as this is my "camping"
summer.

Now I will drop it off at the quilter as I am a beginner with the machine!

New Projects

I have been busy sewing in between hiking trips.

I just finished a birthday gift for my friend's daughter. She will turn 6 and is going to Kindergarten this year!

I made these pillowcases for our bed.

I was so excited to meet Sue Spargo at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. She was a warm, friendly person (just like her work).

I had to wait for my friend Barbara to send the picture!

Sisters Was a Blast!

I have returned from the Sisters, OR Quilt Show! I went with friends, Vicki and Wendy. Friend Barbara met us at the airport in Portland. We rented a car and started shopping! You definitely need to visit Fabric Depot!

We shopped around Bend and went to sisters on Friday to "scope" it out!

We arrived Saturday morning in Sisters before 7 AM and got the first parking spot!

Here we are after buying hats so we would survive the HOT day! 

Check out the hats and also the tattoos. Mine said, "WILL WORK FOR FABRIC!"

We made the bags and were very popular around town!

I was so excited to get to meet Sue Spargo.  Here is one of her beautiful quilts and a close up!

Heading to Sisters, OR

We are headed to Sisters, OR tomorrow. It should be a great quilt admiring, girl talking, fabric fondling time! We made bags to carry the money. LOL

10 Days in the Idaho Wilderness

We just spent 10 days in he Frank Church Wilderness in Idaho. It was a great time! Here is a great sunset.

The dogs had a great time, too! Sara didn't really like the plane ride, but she now associates planes with fun and gophers!
