New Finishes: Birdsong Blocks

This summer I decided I should start my Jan Patek quilt - Birdsong. I gathered fabric, traced, cut, ironed and packed up for a long 2 day drive to Wisconsin.

A few days before the trip, hubby's back started acting up! We postponed the trip for a few days. Then decided we could make the trip if I drove! There went all of my applique time!

During the cold days of Thanksgiving vacation, I completed 2 of the blocks!

I have another one of these blocks prepped. Bring on the cold weather. It has been great for my sewing!
